Travel grants are available for individuals by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Individuals are required to submit an abstract which will be reviewed by the scientific committee, and selections will be made based on the quality of the submissions.

Please indicate when submitting your abstract that you are applying for a travel bursary. 

Eligibility criteria to aply are (all items required):

• Early career researcher: an undergraduate or postgraduate (Masters/PhD) student or a scientist who has received their highest degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) within the past five years

• From a GAVI eligible country: https://www.gavi.org/types-support/sustainability/eligibility 

• Individuals who submit an abstract of sufficient quality as judged by Europneumo 2025 selection committee
