Attendance Grants
With the support of the International Society of Pneumonia and Pneumococcal Diseases (ISPPD), we are offering attendance grants to support researchers participating in Europneumo 2025.
These grants will cover the registration fee for the event (if the registration fee has already been paid, it will be reimbursed for successful applicants).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Have submitted an abstract as the first and presenting author that has already been accepted for presentation at Europneumo 2025.
Be available to present the abstract orally, if selected by the Scientific Committee.
Preference will be given to:
Early Career Researchers (PhD students or scientists who obtained their highest degree—BSc, MSc, or PhD—within the past five years).
Candidates from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) and Eastern Europe, as we recognize that researchers from these regions may face greater challenges in attending the event.
How to Apply
To apply, candidates must:
Complete the application form.
Provide a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s head of department/institute.
Deadline
The deadline for applications is February 28, 2025.
Important Notes
Grants are limited, and fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee funding.
Researchers who have already received an Europneumo 2025 attendance grant (sponsored by the Gates Foundation) are not eligible to apply.
